"I've always believed that any organisation has to be build on a foundation of mutual respect for all the members, harmony amongst each other and love for all. If we can not treat our colleagues as our equal and don't make them feel at home, the principle behind the association goes in vain."

"I have been associated with this association since it's inception in 2002, since the association was merely an idea on the paper. We wanted to provide a podium for all the schools in and around Gorakhpur to come together and collectively discuss upon, problems & matters that affected all of us. So that it could be tackled in a more effective and efficient way. Also, it provided a backdrop for all of us from the education background, to interact and know each other and eventually transform into a big family."

Since the start of this association, we have had a vision to make this association a revolutionary step in the field of Educational fraternity in and around Gorakhpur. With the objective of strengthening the schools and filling the gap between the school fraternity and governmental bodies, we laid the foundation of the Schools' Association Gorakhpur (SAG) with only three schools, in a living room and now it has shaped up to become an association of 125 affiliated member schools.

The association will turn 20 years this year and certainly in it's prime years - the YOUTH years. I feel we have just started and I wish only the best for the association, will always pledge my full support and blessings to it, and will always take pride in being one of the founding members of this association.

"As a school association president my own journey to this remarkable role is still fresh in my mind. As I had started my journey from Kauriram to establish CICSE school in 1993 and then introduced a chain of schools of CBSE,CICSE and UP Board throughout Gorakhpur and Lucknow. It is a sense of gratitude that I have started my journey in Gorakhpur School Association as a founder secretary in 2004 and continuing share my experience and then in 2016 I was elected as the president of this association. I want to share a few experiences regarding the Gorakhpur Schools’ Association works with a clear mission to actively promote co-operation between member schools for the betterment of the education system. The fundamental aim behind the association is the implementation of progressive policies towards making contemporary education more flexible and child centered.

"The most essential concern for someone associated with the sphere of education in absolutely any way should be to stay prompt and upfront about their clear motive of relentlessly and tirelessly building up an evolved, content and sober society on a war footing. This, as we all would agree, would require the strengthening of the most basic and consequential link of the society, 'Our children' whose robust shoulders are going to support and anchor the strong Nation we all eventually dream of. The strategy includes have futuristic, holistic and visionary plans for their overall development, so that, every single child, as a unit, grooms up and evolves to develop into a better human and responsible citizen of this Nation.

I therefore, in my capacity of the Secretary of this reputed Association, promise to keep up my relentless efforts of building and maintaining the synchrony between the collective efforts of Parents, Administration and the Association for coming up with plans that trigger the essence of Nationalism in our kids along with taking care of the physical, mental, social, cultural and psychological requirements of development of the tender age our wards are in. I believe, that this is the best way to bring the much needed and long awaited positive change in our society and would help us achieve the real purpose of education.

This, my dear fellow citizens, is the time for the Parents, Education sector, Administration and Policy Makers to come together hand in hand for overhauling the education sector to suit the requirements, meet the challenges and stand up to the test of this new age in a way that no ward needs to travel far from the secure zone of their homes for quality education which they deserve as a matter of Right. I am sure we can materialise the dream of making Gorakhpur the 'New Hub for Quality Education and Excellence in Academics' by our combined and synchronous efforts, and would produce citizens that would make us all proud at the National and International levels. So with a request for all the stakeholders to join hands with me in this endeavour, and with a trust that we can together make this happen, I, believe there's no better way of fulfilling the purpose of this wonderful Association."

"Schools’ Association Gorakhpur popularly known as SAG came into existence almost a decade back with 5 to 10 schools joining hand in hand to constitute a forum for cooperation and mutual assistance among CBSE and ICSE affiliated schools of Gorakhpur and nearby districts. SAG now is a family of more than 120+ schools. No doubt that all the SAG affiliated schools are tough competition for each other but when they come under the umbrella of SAG, it is ONE BIG FAMILY with a single goal of achieving excellence be it in the field of academic, sports or other co-curricular activities.

Innate intelligence functions with ease amidst love, harmony and freedom and when all such positivity works together – success is created. This philosophy propels SAG towards conceptualized, personalized and connected with life learning. The management of different schools works as a team to make the dreams of SAG take shape into realities. SAG works to serve the cause of quality education, for the betterment of the coming generation so that they live in a world “where knowledge is free and the head is held high”; “where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls” and “the clear stream of reasoning has not lost its way”. As a vice president, I have to administer and maintain the systematic functionality of all the office bearers under the guidance of patrons and the president to progress the working of SAG effectively. It is a huge responsibility to act as a vice president of SAG, but the unconditional support of all its members makes it a smooth and easy task. I pray for the success and progress of SAG and wish that this association will march ahead always."
